Making friends and always being in good cheer
The days pass by, but our memories still endear
Adolescence greets us with its embrace
A time of rebellion, hormones, and race
Challenging parents, discovering who we are
Torn between childhood and adulthood so far
Falling in love, heartbreak, and drama
The teenage years are filled with such trauma
Learning lessons that we will carry for life
Growing stronger with every strife
Adulthood comes with new responsibilities
Living life with options, making choices with ease
Career, family, and settling down
Building our own lives, in a new town
The daily grind of bills, work, and stress
Relationships, love, and finding happiness
Walking through life, one step at a time
The deserts, hills, and mountains we must climb
The years speed by, and we grow older
The kids grow up, life seems so much colder
Reflecting back on all that once was
Reminiscing on our youth, a time full of buzz
